Patriot Subaru, located in Saco, Maine, kicked off 2011 with the giveaway of a new 2011 Subaru Impreza, with the Grand Prize drawing on Valentines Day!
"One of the Subaru themes is 'Love' because Subaru owners are passionate about their Subarus, especially this time of year with all the snow." says Adam Arens, owner of Patriot Subaru. "So what better way to show our appreciation to the people of Maine than to have some one win a brand new Subaru on a day when love is certainly in the air. It's nice to get a card, but how amazing to get a car!"
Entry for the Patriot Subaru contest began on December 27. "What is important is that we make this gimmick-free. Just come in and sign up. You can have a cup of coffee, but you don?t have to listen to a sales pitch." says Arens.
The winner, Megan Barnes, was more than just a little surprised when she received the call. "When I heard it was Patriot Subaru on the phone, I thought I had won an oil change. I just could not believe I won the car!"
This is the 3rd consecutive year Patriot has given away a car to start the year. Winners must be 18+, a valid Maine resident, and no purchase was necessary.
Patriot Subaru is the largest Subaru dealer in Maine, and was awarded the Subaru Chairmans Roundtable Award in 2010 as a top 25 dealer in the U.S. It is a notable accomplishment since the store is located in one of the smallest DMA?s, or Subaru Designated Marketing Areas in the country. Patriot recently received the Energy Star Small Business Award, the first small business in Maine to receive the honor, for their commitment to reducing energy consumption and recycling programs.
