Here at Patriot Subaru, our associates at all levels play a role in determining where dollars go, often in direct support of causes where they are personally involved.

We call it "Associate Directed Giving".   Each associate who has been with Patriot for over a year can request a charity/non-profit be the recipient of financial support.  The amount of money that is provided to a charity or non-profit is tied to the level of involvement of our associates.  We're not just picking a few, in fact Patriot strives to see 100% of its associates earning dollars for their causes.  Those who are involved in leadership roles, such as a board member, can see high levels of donations.

We are often approached by organizations that would like us to sponsor an event, and in return receive various forms of advertising recognition.  We respect that, and yes, we have been involved with many good events over the years.   However, it is not the advertising return that drives our decision at all.  We have charitable dollars and marketing dollars, and we do not believe in mixing the two. We want to be a part of your organization, not just another name on a list of donors.  We hope that our associates either already are engaged with supporting your cause through volunteering, or can be moving forward.

Between our three stores - Saco, ME, North Attleboro, MA, and Salem, NH, Patriot will donate over $400,000 a year. But it's not just the money - it's the personal involvement that makes the biggest difference.  We have a great team of associates who come to work every day, and we show our support by helping them with the things they are passionate about.
