2000 CHARITABLE DONATION
\While Adam was at the Subaru National Business Conference, he spent time at the Subaru Corporate Responsibility booth. The SCR division heads up the Share The Love program, that has donated $50 million dollars over the past 7 years to charities. By engaging with the SCR booth in a variety of participatory items, Adam was given the opportunity to enter to win one of four donations to a local charity. Adam entered, and selected Preble Street, our partner from the 2014 Share The Love program. He won! $2000 in the name of Patriot Subaru goes to Preble Street. Preble Street creates solutions to problems dealing with homelessness, hunger and poverty in our greater Portland community. This donation brings our total "Share The Love" amount bestowed to Preble Street up to a $42,000.

Additionally, a huge "thank you for all that you do" and "congratulations" to all team members from both the Saco and North Attleboro stores for a record first half of the year! A job well done!

Look for Patriot Subaru in the 6th Annual Saco Car Show Saturday, July 25th 8am-1pm, rain or shine! It's all part of Saco Spirit, a growing local organization focused on promoting our local community.
North Attleboro held a Red Cross Blood Drive on June 20th. 19 donors, a solid turn- out for our 2nd event. The store provided a free conti- nental breakfast to all donors, plus specials in the service department. A big thanks to Kristen Anderson for heading this event!
Look, Up In The Sky....it's a Quad-Copter! Marketing Director, Tom Talbott, brought in a local company that uses a quad -copter to take stunning aerial video. A camera taking 4k Video is mounted onto a 5 pound copter, controlled by remote control. The camera is on a set of gimbals that are linked to 16 GPS satellites. Even though the copter's movements are smooth it's still a little erratic, but the rotating gimbals give the camera a steadiness that is unreal. The result is like a bird in flight, with crystal clear imaging. Look for it in upcoming commercials, including Corey Creteau's debut, on-air now!
GREAT DAY IN THE OLD PORT!
Patriot Subaru was at the Old Port Festival, one of the largest ever. An absolutely perfect day weather wise, brought tens of thousands into the downtown Portland district. Glen Reed ran solo, setting up the blue Subaru tent and manning the booth all day, so a special thanks to him! Our booth was set up adjacent to the WCLZ Sound Stage, where a great slate of performers entertained live with a great mix of cover songs and some originals. Part of our fanfare included a "Text to Win Red Sox Tickets". No fuss with entry forms, and we had over 400 entries. There was a steady stream of visitors, many who checked out the Forester and took brochures. We're looking forward to next year already!
This year Patriot Subaru joined in as a participating sponsor of the Portland Pride Parade. The parade was held on June 20th featuring a car driven by our very own Jackie Parker along with her cute co- pilots! Thanks Jackie! Huge response on Facebook too, with 400 likes!
Keep North Attleboro Beautiful! On Saturday May 2nd, Rebecca Haverkamp, Kristin Anderson, and Kirsten Reposa took some time to clean up the road and area around the employee parking area, part of our way we help keep North Attleboro beautiful! The mission of Keep North Attleboro Beautiful is "to create awareness, educate the community, and effect change in the way we beautify and care for our local environment." Thank you for your efforts ladies!
In addition to our staff growing, so is our garden! The organic vegetable garden in Saco is starting to grow after the cold spells we've had in the recent weeks. In the picture above you can spot several different types of lettuce, tomatoes, peas, and more! A special thank you to Greg Turcotte who tends to our garden year after year! If you would like to lend Greg a helping hand he would greatly appreciate it!
