Yes, it does! The 2026 Solterra now comes standard with dual electric motors that produce 233 horsepower, up from 215 horsepower on last year's model. Additionally, the 2026 Solterra now offers a 338-horsepower setup on XT models.
The base Premium trim has an EPA-estimated driving range of 288 miles, while XT models get an estimated 278 miles on a full charge. Both figures easily eclipse last year's Solterra maximum EPA-estimated range of 227 miles.
A 14-inch touchscreen comes standard on all 2026 Solterra models. For comparison, the 2025 Solterra came standard with an eight-inch touchscreen and offered a 12.3-inch display as an upgrade.
When you plug your 2026 Solterra into an available Level 2 home charger, you can fully recharge the battery in around eight hours. This is a significant boost from the estimated 11 hours that last year's model took to fully charge. When you plug into a DC public fast charger, you can charge the battery from 10 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes, or about five minutes faster than the 2025 model. Additionally, the 2026 Solterra is the first model to be compatible with the North American Charging Standard (NCAS). That means you can now charge your Solterra at a Tesla Supercharger station without needing an NACS-to-CCS1 adapter.
