Patriot Subaru of Saco
Annual Founder's Club Dinner

The Annual Founders Club Dinner was held at the Kon Asian Bistro, on Monday, Oct 27th. This annual event is for all associates who have been with Patriot for 5 years or more. The Hibachi was fired up with delicious steak, lobster, and chick- en, and our chefs entertained us with their cutlery and culinary skills. The Sake bottle was flowing, and then...there was the Scorpion Bowl! Great time had by all. Interestingly, all members present have been with Patriot 6 years or more, representing the years between 2003-2008. Next year how- ever, it is expected that the Founders Club membership will increase significantly, with quite a few associates who joined us in 2010 coming aboard. We're very proud of this "club", which represents the stability, experience, dedication, and commitment to making Patriot Subaru a great place to work.  Congratulations to the following employees:

Jackie Parker 2008 Doug Johnson 2008 Scott McLellan 2008 Glen Reed 2008 Greg Hodgdon 2008 David Shoemaker 2006 Corey Creteau 2006 Tanya Fortino 2006 Vinnie Martorano 2005 Wayne Durgin 2005 Michael Drown 2005 Greg Brown 2003 Greg Turcotte 2003 Brian Beattie 2003 Patty Berryman 2003 Tom Talbott 2003 Adam Arens 2003 Lisa Arens 2003

A note from the desk of Don McEwen, General Manager, Patriot Subaru at North Attleboro

Just a quick thanks to all of the Veterans employed by Patriot Subaru in North Attleboro and Saco. As a Veteran I can tell you that it is greatly appreciated and this year I would ask that you also thank their families of as well. Try to imagine for a minute what it is like to be the spouse or child of a Soldier, Sailor or Airmen that is deployed. Suddenly all the responsibilities that you take for granted become yours. Those times when a Mom or Dad is needed for guidance and there is only one parent. The groceries, the bills, the school meetings, the after school activities, the car that breaks down, trying to juggle a work schedule with the needs of a sick child and trying to arrange for someone to get the others off the bus. It is for this reason that Military spouses form close bonds and come to rely upon each other. This Veteran's Day if you know someone that has a spouse who is deployed why not say thanks by asking what you can do to make their life easier, even for a day!

Don McEwen

A special thank you to the following employees who have served our country this Veteran's Day: Jim Connolly, Mike Avery, Ron Lemons, Al Touri, John Boucher, Gerry Gibson, Greg Hodgdon, Mike Odierno, and Don McEwen.

Wishing a very Happy Birthday to the following employees: Mary Meda, Rebecca Haverkamp, Dan Walker, Herb Johnson, Bob Bartnick, and Tommy Letellier!

Here's to another year of happiness and good health!

Subaru Share The Love Begins November 20th!

Patriot Subaru supports a local charity in each market. Saco - Our local charity is Preble Street Resource In NA ,we are working with the Joe Andruzzi Foundation.

As you know, Subaru will make a donation of $250 for every new car sold between Nov. 20 and Jan 2. Customers can choose from 1 of 5 charities - ASPCA, Make A Wish, Meals on Wheels, National Park Foundation, and then our local charity. All are wonderful organizations that do important work. We would like to encourage customers to support our local charity choice as much as possible, so talk it up. Selections are made at the Digital Showroom kiosk.

The mission of Preble Street is to provide accessible barrier-free services to empower people experiencing problems with homelessness, housing, hunger, and poverty, and to advocate for solutions to these problems.

The Joe Andruzzi Foundation is committed to providing help, hope, and a reason to smile for cancer patients and their families by contributing financial and emotional support when it is needed the most.
