All-Wheel Symmetrical Drive is worth more than the difference, by a lot. The Impreza has virtually the
same gas mileage, larger cabin space, and a healthy list of standard features that make it a better value.

If you factor in that the Legacy has the All-Wheel Drive, plus a longer list of other standard equipment items, the Legacy offers a lot more for the money. Legacy provides active front seat head restraints, windshield wiper de-icer, heated exterior mirrors, power lumbar support, power drivers seat, heated seats, leather wrap steering wheel, and Sirius XM, all standard, none of which are on the Accord.

* MPG is comparable. Legacy is at 25/34 city to highway. Accord is 27/37. One would expect the Accord to be higher, given that it is only a 2 wheel drive, so the advantage is really with the Legacy.
