Subaru STI Trim Levels: Key Features

If you know you want the Subaru WRX with 310 horsepower, you know you want either the WRX STI or the WRX STI Limited. We've already highlighted the turbocharged SUBARU BOXER® engine. So, to help you narrow it down a little further, let's look at some of the notable features on each model.

Beginning with the 2021 WRX STI, drivers can expect a symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive system with a driver-controlled center differential and track-tuned suspension. When it's time to pull on the reins, you'll have a six-piston/two-piston Brembo® high-performance braking system. Interior amenities include Keyless Access with Push-Button Start and the feel of available Recaro® performance front seats.

The WRX STI Limited includes the same features as the WRX STI and adds several notable performance cues and cabin comforts. Starting with the exterior, the Subaru WRX STI boasts an optional lip or wing rear spoiler and a power-tilt/sliding moonroof. Inside, we find leather-trimmed upholstery and Recaro® performance front seats. When it comes to your technological needs, you'll have the SUBARU STARLINK® 7-inch Multimedia Navigation system with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration. The STI Limited also adds to the safety with Blind-Spot Detection and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. Subaru WRX Performance

While we've mentioned the turbocharged engine that helps the Subaru WRX outperform other vehicles in its class, the performance features on this AWD sedan don't stop there. The Subaru WRX is designed for chewing up corner apexes and spitting them back out. If you like to carve up the canyon or assert your dominance around the circuit, you'll love the Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system for enhanced traction and cornering.

The WRX is track-ready with its track-tuned suspension and responsive quick-ratio steering from the aluminum front lower control arms. Fast lap times aren't just from how fast you can go in a straight line. They're from how much speed you can take into corners and bring with you on the way out. The All-Wheel-Drive Subaru WRX and WRX STI models are engineered with uniform stability and optimal power-to-weight ratio in mind to help you straighten out the corners.
