Tariffs

On May 20th, Subaru announced there will be price increases on Subaru vehicles, and is being 100% transparent about that step, and the reasons behind it. However, rumors have been flying, so it is important that you have good information.

From Subaru: "Subaru of America has adjusted its pricing in response to current market conditions. The changes were made to offset increased costs while maintaining a solid value proposition for the customer. Subaru pricing is not based on the country of origin of its products."

Many pundits rushed out to say it was due to the tariffs, but hold on. Yes, tariffs, while not directly referenced, are part of the equation, but there are other factors involved.  Subaru has always maintained a very high value to price ratio, holding prices down, but costs in general have risen. 

The increases range depending on the model. Patriot Subaru will work with you to find the best price and finance or lease rate as we always have, working to minimize the impact. 

Rather than slip it in, Subaru has chosen to be upfront and honest with their customers about these changes, because it is the right way to conduct business. Of course it brings challenges, and Patriot is committed to be as helpful as we've always been to ensure that the experience of buying is one that is enjoyed and appreciated by the customer.
